Remember when your mom cut the bananas just right for your piping hot oatmeal early up on a cold, dismal, rainy Saturday morning? Yeah, ya do, right? Yep, and me, too… so much so reminded this morning as my pal and me met up after a protracted separation from each other during this Covidmess. Leaving the bathroom, there are two doors to pull so was thankful that there was a trash bin by the second door so I could still use a paper towel to open them. There isn't a full length mirror or a baby changing station, but it was clean. The color scheme continued in the bathroom, but nothing exciting or unique. Probably one of the best bread puddings I've ever had!īathroom: I was a little surprised that the bathrooms were of the old metal stalls (with all the effort put into the restaurant decor, I thought the stalls would be a little more updated). Then we finished the meal off with the white chocolate bread pudding, with vanilla ice cream. Both entrees were flavorful and perfectly cooked! Biting into one of the sirloin tips, it took me back to the flavors growing up and going to our favorite local steakhouse for a special occasion. At the table we also had the Sirloin Tips over penne pasta, tossed in a light lime sauce. The kale had a nice lite dressing on it with a sweet tomato chutney. I had the fresh fish which was a Grilled Grouper over a couscous with peas and mushrooms with a little serving of kale. But to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. To be honest it had me a little worried that the food would be pretty standard. The restaurant decor was "fun" almost tourist hokey, like I was in a Disney restaurant. Great find! From the outside it looks like a chain restaurant but when I looked it up there are only 3 of them in the area.
